All about YOU.
Remember the times we wanted to be a grown-up? Now that we are, all we wish to be is a child again. What do you think changed our mindset? The responsibilities that we have as a grown up or the mess that we make our lives to be?
Well, it's the concept of "Happiness". Let us all think of a kid, a kid you're close to. Have you ever questioned them what makes them happy?
The only reply they will give is playing with the toys and the colors. Now try asking them what is it that makes them sad. When I asked this to my niece, her only reply was I get sad when my Mumma doesn't let me watch YouTube. Curious enough, I asked her "what is it that you do to make yourself happy again?"
With all her innocence she said, "I play with myself".
With all her innocence she said, "I play with myself".
It was a very simple answer but give it a thought, it is deep. She didn't let other things bother her, spending time with herself would bring back happiness to her. What do we do as grown-ups? We let every other thing bother us, we are all affected by anything and everything and we look for our happiness in someone else's hand. Why? Why is it so hard for us to understand that Happiness is within us?
Kids have the power in them to spread happiness but first, they keep themselves happy. You need to realize that you have to love yourself to keep you happy. It's okay to love your imperfections. It's okay to make yourself a priority. It's okay to trust your instincts. It's okay to be selfish at times. It's okay to go away from the people who take away your peace. It's okay to be alone. It's okay to cry if that is what will give you relief. It's okay to decide for yourself. It's all okay unless what you are doing makes you happy.
We fail to accept ourselves the way we are. Stop getting scared of what could go right or wrong. Remember one thing, you can't do anything wrong if you don't do anything at all. Know your choice, decide for yourself, either grow with it or learn from it.

The famous saying "Be with someone that makes you happy" says it all.
We don't have to wait for someone else to give us the happiness. Happiness is in the little things like have you ever tried eating Maggie without a fork, like just the fingers? Have you ever felt like blowing a plastic cover and then just bursting it to just hear the sound? Have you ever stood behind a door just to scare someone? Have you ever felt like dancing out of joy irrespective of the place you are in? Have you felt like buying a lollipop for yourself and enjoying just how a kid would?
Kids do all the things that I mentioned above, so do we as grown-ups but how comfortable are we to do all this with people around? Kids do as they like without bothering about the people around them because they know their happiness lies here. We have lost the inner kid in us thinking about what other people would think about us. The fear of the comment 'stop behaving like a kid' stops us always. Of course, there are times where we have to keep aside our childish behavior, but it's all okay at times. Somewhere between changing for others and changing with the modern world, we have forgotten our inner kid.

You deserve your love. You deserve happiness. After all, loving yourself ain't so hard.
